Sidecar Salon

Sidecar Salon is an occasional gathering of adventurous women leaders in international schools convened for edifying conversation about a specific leadership ‘tangle,’ in an atmosphere of comfort, collegiality and conviviality.

We meet for 60-75 minutes in Bridget's Zoom Room. Salons are lightly facilitated by Bridget and may occasionally involve guest speakers.

Bring a beverage and snack of your choice and come ready to listen, learn and contribute.

(If you drink too much I'll switch places with you; you get in my sidecar, I'll drive you home.)

January's salon will focus on loved ones with memory loss. Living far away from loved ones is a challenge in itself. Living away from loved ones experiencing memory loss, Alzheimers or dementia adds layers of emotional and practical complexity.

We'll share stories, challenges and strategies, ask questions and build a network of support while living abroad. Fellow expat educator Jodi Arndt of American International School of Johannesburg will share her personal story and help guide us through this tricky landscape. Bring something to write with and on!

The Salon will take place on Sunday, January 12 at 2 pm CEST (check here for your time zone) last 75 minutes. Please be on time in order to get the full value from the experience. See you there!
